Feeding Texas Families
1,200 meals coordinated with food banks since 2017
Grocery drives, pantry partnerships, and weekend meal programs for families caught between paychecks. We fund food banks across the DFW area and statewide, and put volunteers on the line every month.
The math is unforgiving. One flat tire, one missed shift, one hospital bill — and a working family in Round Rock is suddenly choosing between gas and groceries. That gap is real, and it is much narrower than most people think. A week of groceries, not a life preserver, is usually all a family needs to keep its footing.
We don't run our own pantry, and we never will. We fund and staff the pantries that already know their neighborhoods — the church kitchens, the school cafeterias, the food bank trucks that have been serving the same streets for decades. Our job is simpler than theirs: money on time, hands when asked, and a truck full of staples on the second Saturday of every month.
Every dollar we send buys in bulk through food bank purchasing programs, which means it stretches roughly three times further than a grocery cart would. That's not a slogan. It's the line item in our audit.
“We went from 'this won't work' to 'we'll make it work' the day TCCF showed up with a truck and twelve people.”
