Back-to-School Drives

Backpacks, supplies, and registration help for kids who would otherwise start the year empty-handed. We work with counselors, not lotteries, so the kids who need it most get it first.

A kid shouldn't learn long division while counting what their family can't afford. Yet every August, thousands of DFW-area children walk into school without the basics — and the counselors quietly know exactly which ones.

So we work through counselors, not first-come lines. Each backpack arrives pre-filled with grade-level supplies — not the generic mix, the real list from the real teachers — plus a note that says the thing every kid needs to hear in September: somebody is rooting for you.

Volunteers pack in shifts all summer. Counselors distribute in the first week of school. Parents never fill out an application, and kids never stand in a line. The only paperwork is the packing count.
