Money funds the work; people do it. Whether you have a Saturday or a standing weekly shift in you, there's a place in the rotation with your name on it.
These are the programs you can jump into. Specific dates and locations are announced by email — sign up for any that fit and we'll match you to the next shift.
Fill backpacks with grade-level supplies for students who would otherwise start the year empty-handed. Every 12 backpacks you pack sponsors one student's full year of supplies.
Evening & weekend shifts · groups welcome
Assemble welcome kits for families entering our partner shelters — toiletries, bedding, and a handwritten note. A small, high-trust crew.
Kids 12+ welcome with a guardian
Greet families, verify registrations, and hand out holiday meal vouchers for our Thanksgiving and Christmas distributions. Bilingual volunteers especially needed.
Front-line, seasonal · bilingual a plus
Sort, pack, and hand out groceries alongside our food-bank partners. The steady work that keeps neighbors fed between paychecks.
Monthly · half & full-day shifts
Help run our signature evening of Texas barbecue, live music, and the State of the Foundation address — the night that funds a year of programs.

One short form. Our coordinator reads every one and replies within a week.
You'll be sorting, packing, serving, or loading within fifteen minutes of arriving.
